Safer Handling Restraint Training (1 day)
Where physical intervention, or even just holding someone, whilst they regulate is necessary for the safety of themselves and others. Safer Handling provides staff with the necessary knowledge, confidence and skills to manage this in the safest way possible.
Specialising in bespoke strategies to manage the behaviours of children or vulnerable adults of all ages and of different shapes & sizes, we take into consideration factors such as SEN needs, SEMH difficulties or those who may have a disability.
Introduction to Trauma and the Importance of an EAA (0.5 or 1 day)
This course can be tailored to half a day or a full day. The full day includes more practical examples and opportunities to develop skills in talking and listening to students with trauma. The course offers an overview of PACE, the role of an Emotionally Available Adult, the validation of feelings and some practical examples of ways to support a child with trauma over time.

Progression Framework Training
The AET Progression Framework is a comprehensive and extensive resource designed to support education professionals in identifying learning priorities and measuring progress in areas which relate closely to autism differences: Social Understanding and Communication; Sensory Processing and Integration; Flexibility, Information Processing and Understanding.
