In July, groups of students had the privilege of working with members of the Royal Navy, one of Aspire’s Career Enterprise partners.
Ms Baker, our Transition Mentor, organised a series of visits for different groups on different sites.
The physical activities were challenging, but enjoyed by all. As well as raising their confidence and self esteem, our students were encouraged to solve problems, work as part of a team, communicate effectively and develop interpersonal skills.
Aspire will continue to strengthen links and activities with the Navy in the future.
