On the afternoon of Thursday 3rd February, students across all sites had the opportunity to further develop their cultural awareness by taking part in a competition to celebrate Chinese New Year, the Year of the Tiger.
Students in KS4 competed in their vocational areas, while those in KS3 worked in tutor groups.
By the end of the afternoon, a wide variety of Chinese artifacts had been created and made vibrant displays across the academy.
Well done to the Textiles team who were judged the winners of the competition and to all students for taking part with such enthusiasm.
